Greetings, faithful readers!
I know it has been a long time since I've written anything here, and for that I apologize. I like to at least keep in touch and let everyone know what's going on in the land of Playing Dice with the Universe, but as has been the case for so long, there's really very little to report.
The good news right now, though, is that this week is Spring Break and I am enjoying a much-anticipated vacation away from school and homework. Don't worry; though a little R&R is definitely in the forecast for the intrepid Playing Dice team, we're still working hard to get these updates out. As proof, we offer today a bright and shiny new update!
I suppose that this pretty much goes without mention, but I'm getting very excited about working on this strip. I usually have scripts worked out several weeks in advance and as we draw closer to the inevitable battle with the bridge-guarding orcs I find myself anticipating each week's scene more and more. The strips with the orcs aren't drawn yet (and many aren't even fully-written), but I think they're going to be worth the build-up.
Well, that's about all I've got today. I'm staying at my mom's place for most of Spring Break, hanging out with family (including my brother, Travis, who just got back from more than a year in Iraq), so I've wasted too much time here on the blog already. I will try to be better about updating the news here in coming weeks, though.
